Hiking in the Udzungwas

Original post on the ATTA members news website. Written by Sharon Moore, Wild Things Safaris:

Bordering the Udzungwa Mountains National Park, Udzungwa Forest Camp (Hondo Hondo) offers something different than the traditional safari. This park has many different hiking routes. Guests can go hiking within the park (no vehicles allowed). The park is one of the lesser-known parks in Tanzania, even though the Udzungwa Mountains are among the most biodiversity hotspots in the world, with many endmic plants, birds and primates – Udzungwa Red Colobus and Sanje Mangabey (The Red Colobus are often seen at the camp in front of the bar).
