
Air travel in Africa has received another boost with the resumption of Air Tanzania’s direct flight route between Dar es Salaam and South Africa’s Johannesburg.
The four times a week route resumed on Friday 28 June and will operate on a Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
It is serviced by a Boeing B787 Dreamliner with 22 Business Class seats and 240 Economy seats.
The airline has also announced a new direct route to India’s Mumbai three times a week starting from 17 July, making it a potential new stopover for flights to India from South Africa.
